Victoria Mayo is a compassionate licensed social worker dedicated to supporting children and families. She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work from Southern Illinois University, where she also participated in the Trauma-Based Behavioral Health Fellowship, igniting her passion for working with children. Victoria brings a wealth of experience in social services, beginning her career at Centerstone, where she worked with children ages 5 to 18. She currently serves as a school social worker at Tri-C Elementary while also providing care at Integrated Health. She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play therapy, and EMDR, and she is committed to ongoing professional growth. Her future goals include obtaining her clinical license and furthering her career in child-focused therapy.
Victoria resides in Carbondale with her youngest son and her beloved golden doodle. She is also a proud mother to another son and daughter-in-law—and an even prouder grandmother! She welcomed her first grandchild in July and is excited to meet her next grandson this summer. Outside of work, Victoria enjoys yoga, Pilates, reading, crafting, visiting wineries, and renovating furniture and homes. She also advocates for wellness, spiritual healing, trauma-focused yoga, and self-care, incorporating these values into her practice. Victoria’s dedication to helping children heal and grow shines through in every aspect of her work, making her a valued member of the Integrated Health team.
