Meet Jennifer Miller, PTA, LMT. Jen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from SIUC, an Associates in Applied Sciences (PTA) from SIUC, and a Massage Therapy Certificate from Shawnee Community College. With a remarkable 18 years of specialization in Pelvic Health, Jennifer’s journey into Physical Therapy began when she experienced a shoulder injury playing softball in high school. The subsequent rehabilitation program and job shadowing at a rehab clinic sparked her interest in the field. Her focus on Pelvic Health deepened when she encountered significant pelvic pain during her second pregnancy. In 2023, Jennifer enhanced her expertise by completing the McKenzie Method® of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy® Training for lumbar. Eager to further her clinical skillet, she aspires to continue her training with the cervical McKenzie® course very soon.
Dedicated to her patients, Jennifer sees her role as a PTA as a commitment to their well-being. She firmly believes that their lives are deserving of her time and is motivated by the desire to assist them in achieving goals that enhance their overall quality of life. When advising patients, Jennifer emphasizes the importance of patience, persistence, and active participation in rehab programs for success, adding that paying it down with effort will pay off dividends in the long run. Beyond her professional life, Jennifer finds joy in crafting projects, particularly enjoying crochet. An outdoor enthusiast, she engages in activities like hiking, biking, camping, boating, and gardening. Sports, movies, and music also hold a significant place in her leisure time. For Jennifer, patient well-being is paramount, and she is dedicated to guiding individuals through their journeys toward better health.
