He holds certification in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy from the esteemed Albert Ellis Institute in New York City. 

Jeff’s therapeutic approach is versatile and client-centered, leveraging various talk therapies to empower patients in achieving their goals, whether that involves symptom relief or deeper self-discovery. 

Settled in Carterville for over two decades with his wife Karen, Jeff recently transitioned into the phase of “empty nesting.” They relish family gatherings and embrace outdoor adventures, whether it’s savoring moments at the Lake of Egypt or exploring the natural splendor of the Shawnee forest through hiking and camping. 

Jeff’s extensive career spans outpatient counseling and roles within private psychiatric hospitals in the Chicago area. His recent tenure at a State of Illinois hospital has provided him with a panoramic view of the mental health landscape, enriching his understanding of diverse needs and treatment modalities.
