Alyx Schimpf, a Licensed Professional Counselor, is equipped with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO. Alyx’s professional journey is marked by a wealth of experience providing counseling services across diverse settings, with a particular focus on children and adolescents. Her expertise spans community outreach, agency work, hospital settings, and shelter environments. 

Specializing in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, Alyx embodies a collaborative and compassionate approach to counseling. Her mission is to instill hope, foster healing, and cultivate resilience in those she serves, empowering them on their unique paths to wellness. 

Beyond her professional endeavors, Alyx finds fulfillment in cherished moments with her husband and two daughters. Born and raised in the heart of Southern IL, she holds a deep appreciation for the warmth and tight-knit connections found in small-town communities. Alyx is thrilled to join the Integrated Behavioral Health team, eager to contribute her expertise and compassion to the community she deeply values.
