Alexandria Markel is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) with more than a decade of experience in the mental health field. Since 2013, she has worked across diverse settings—including outpatient clinics, medical facilities, and correctional environments—gaining valuable insight into the unique challenges individuals face. Alexandria works with adults 18 and older who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and mood disorders. She believes therapy should be a supportive space where individuals feel seen, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change.
Her therapeutic style is strength-based and client-centered, drawing from evidence-based approaches such as Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). By combining compassion with proven techniques, Alexandria helps her patients move toward growth, resilience, and improved well-being.
