My name is Shoshana Church. I am originally from Wyoming but grew up in Memphis. I moved to Southern Illinois in the mid-70s, where I met my husband and raised a family. I now have 5 grandsons of whom I am very proud!!! I started my education as a preschool teacher and later got my associate degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. I eventually decided that being a Physician Assistant was the path for me, so I completed my education in 2003, earning a Bachelor’s Degree. I then pursued and finished a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska in 2008. I love all aspects of medicine with a special interest in endocrine disorders (including thyroid, women’s hormones, and diabetes) and musculoskeletal disorders and pediatrics.
I have a deep interest in Essential Oils and alternative medicine. I obtained my certification as an Aromatherapist in 2020. I can do consultations for Oils and other problems that would benefit from a more natural solution that includes oils, salves, creams, diffuser blends, etc.
I have many interests outside of seeing my patients, like painting, gardening, exercising, singing on the praise team at church and drama director at church, and teaching about essential oils.
