Vertigo symptoms are typically brought on by inner ear problems, head or neck injuries, brain problems like a stroke or tumor, medications, and migraines. Symptoms can last short term (minutes) or last long term (hours), and others may come and go. These symptoms can be worsened depending on how you’ve positioned your head.
Symptoms Temporomandibular Joint Disorders (TMJ) affect the hinge that connects your jaw to the bones of your skull in front of your ear. This joint is used when talking, chewing, and yawning. Though the underlying causes of TMJ or TMD are unknown, it is perceived that symptoms can come from the muscles or the structure of the jaw itself. Symptoms can also arise from whiplash, a heavy blow to the head, teeth grinding, arthritis, and stress. TMJ can be a long-lasting disorder and can affect just one or both sides of the jaw.
Symptoms of Migraines can affect the head as a whole or isolated parts and sides. Migraines can be very complex to diagnose and can happen all of a sudden or come on gradually. Every migraine can be unique and treatment can be tricky. These can be a reoccurring issue if the underlying cause is not identified and treated. There are a lot of known triggers for migraines; stress, food allergy, caffeine, weather, mensuration, lack of sleep, skipping a meal, etc.
Symptoms of tech or text neck may vary. The added stress usually brings on this disorder to the neck and upper spine from viewing mobile devices and other screens for prolonged periods of time.
