Get to know Katie

Katie Edwards is a 2013 graduate of Armstrong State University in Savannah, GA with her Bachelor’s Degree in Rehabilitation Sciences. She graduated from Armstrong with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2016. Katie moved from Savannah, GA to Fort Leavenworth, KS and was working in an outpatient setting treating military personnel and their families. Katie had the opportunity to practice as a physical therapy provider at Munson Army Health Center, working alongside other healthcare providers in a holistic approach under the military umbrella. Katie has since moved to Carterville, IL in September 2019 with her husband and daughter.

Katie has a strong general orthopedic background and able to assess treatment of the spine and extremities. From knee pain to neck discomfort, Katie will develop an individualized plan to restore pain free movement and provide education to prevent exacerbations.
