My name is Danielle Baker, and I am an AANP Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a passion for caring for patients across all age groups, focusing on utilizing holistic healthcare practices and a multi-disciplinary approach for treatment. I completed my LPN and RN degrees at Southeastern Illinois College in Harrisburg. I worked as an RN at Harrisburg Medical Center for 7 years as I continued with my education. I completed my Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Chamberlain College of Nursing in St. Louis, MO. I went on to complete my Masters of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, at Maryville University in St. Louis, MO, in 2015, where I graduated 3rd in my class. Before signing on with Integrated Health of Southern Illinois, I was employed by Hamilton County Memorial Family Clinics, where I worked in both the McLeansboro and Carmi locations. Prior, I was employed as a nurse practitioner by Shirley Ryan Ability Lab/SIH in Herrin, IL, on the Acute Rehabilitation Unit at Herrin Hospital and in the Physicians Rehabilitation Services Clinic for 3 years, where the focus was on acute rehabilitation services and pain management.
I am a native of Harrisburg, where I reside with my husband, Jeff. Away from work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and family. We have two sons, Boyd, 22, and Ethan, 20. My husband and I have three rescue dogs who we adore. We are members of St. Mary‘s Catholic Church in Harrisburg, IL. In addition to spending time with my husband and family, I enjoy cooking, working out with my husband, reading, participating in community events, watching Cardinals baseball, and weekends away in St. Louis with my husband.
